On November 13th, Carrollton VFD units responded to the 12300 block of Nike Park Rd for a cotton picker on fire. The first arriving unit reported smoke visible from the hopper.

Engine 10 and Squad 10 arrived on the scene and quickly extinguished the fire. Units operated for an hour and a half to thoroughly extinguish all hot spots. For several days, the area continued to smolder and smoke for several days, with no additional fire or threat to the public.
