On May 27th around 2330 hrs Station 10 and Station 50 were dispatched to a report structure fire.  Units arrived on scene to find a single story mason block structure with flames showing on the C & D side.  Members from Station 10 and Station 50 as well as Station 10 Fire Corp assisted on this call.  Fire was extinguished and the Virginia State Police Arson Investigator was notified.  Units returned to quarters around 0246 hrs on May 28th.

  Fine Line Health Cair and Concert

On Saturday May17th members of the Carrollton Fire Department Fire Corp participated in the Health Fair at Fine Lines Fitness Center located on Carrollton Blvd just down from the fire station. This was a Relay for Life Fundraiser.

  Overturned MVA Osborne Ln/Reynolds Dr

On Monday, May 12th Station 10 was dispatched to an MVC involving an overturned vehicle.  Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle involved that was on its roof, occupant of the vehicle was already out.  At the time of the accident no patients were transported all units cleared and returned to quarters.

Annual Golf Tournament (JP Memory)
Golf Tournament
 

On April 25th the Firefighter John Paul Memory II Memorial Foundation held its second annual Golf Tournament.  Members from Station 10 participated in the event and had a few members play in the tournament.  Money raised from the event goes towards Scholarships, for more details on the scholarships please visit www.jpmemory.org.

  March of Dimes March of Dimes Walk  
 

On April 25th Rescue 10 assisted Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office with an escort from the James River Bridge to the Crittenden Bridge on Route 17.  Jimmy Ray Eagle 97.3, Kerry Fury Wavy TV 10, & Chris Jones House of Delegates were walking for the March of Dimes from Williamsburg to Norfolk.

On April 22nd at 1428 hrs Station 10 was dispatched to a vehicle fire at the Intersection of Eagle Harbor Pkwy and Shelter Cove Way.  Rescue 10 arrived on scene at 1432 hrs to find a caravan with the engine compartment fully involved.  The fire was quickly knocked down and was kept contained to the Engine Compartment and front part of the vehicle, units cleared at 1505. On March 16th at 0735 hrs Station 10 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries.  Rescue 10 and Squad 10 arrived on scene to find a Ford Explorer in the wooded area off the Road.  Driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital. More Photos
