Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 1:24 p.m. Sunday 31 August 2014 to a reported "...two vehicle collision..." at the intersection of Titus Creek Drive and Nike Park Road. Volunteers in Carrollton VFD collision response engine Rescue-10, transport ambulance Squad-10 and other volunteers in POVs responded to the scene. First arriving unit advised heavy damage to two vehicles and no apparent injuries but all responding apparatus was ordered to continue as the incident involved multiple occupants. Each occupant was medically assessed by EMTs to determine level of care and all patients refused medical transport. R-10 crew remained on scene to assist in debris clearing and HAZMAT control until cleared by law enforcement to return to quarters. Dave's Service Center of Smithfield provided two wreckers to clear debris and recover the two damaged vehicles involved.
