Carrollton Volunteer Fire Dept. was dispatched to three motor vehicle incidents within the space of 120 minutes on 24 July 2013. At 1246 Rescue-10 and Medic-11 responded to a motorcycle collision on Route-17 at Deep Bottom Drive and transported one ALS trauma patient to the nearest Emergency Department. At 1432 R-10 and M-11 responded to a single vehicle incident on Titus Creek Drive in which a foreign object had penetrated the driver's side mirror and flying glass had injured the occupant. Carrollton VFD crew on M-11 transported this patient and 15 minutes later Station-10 received a call to respond to a two vehicle rear-end collision on Smith's Neck Road at Reynold's Drive. An Isle of Wight County Emergency Services officer arrived immediately and initiated patient care. Carrollton VFD units R-10 and Squad-10 arrived on scene and S-10 transported one patient to the nearest trauma center. Photos show the third incident.
